Back in the Online Lounge—your roving reporter, free drink in hand. I could really get used to this. The party at Thirsty Bear last night was great, free food & beer, nice crowd of folks. Today's classes were again excellent; lots of good stuff about writing lean table code and DHTML tricks. I'm looking forward to getting home so I can play with some of it on this site. Tomorrow's seminars stretch my job's boundaries a little, but hopefully they will yield some good ideas, and I'm looking foward to learning about XML. I have a feeling we will eventually go there out of necessity at work and I want to be ready.

Right now, I'm at the Web Techniques Web Tool Awards party, enjoying a 7&7, some meatballs and a new t-shirt. Also ran into a former Mattel colleague and had a good time catching up—I'll have to remember to say hi to a few folks when I get back to work on Monday.
