T minus 1 and a little bit. More goodbyes the last few days, to my therapist and a few friends at work…although I'm trying to look at it more as an "Hasta luego" than goodbye, since I will be back to visit fairly often. Almost everything is packed now. The computer gets it tomorrow night after one last email check, so there will probably not be any updates after that until Monday, unless Oregon has become much more wired with public Internet access than I recall. Finally shut off the utilities too—everything goes officially dark on Monday, by which time I hope to be pulling into my new home.

Oh, and the top-secret project went live this morning. It's been a long haul for a lot of folks, but we pulled it off! I'm really pleased to have been a part of this redesign and looking forward to the next big thing. It was a great learning experience, although very hard work coming on the tail end of the catalog job this summer. And now, off to bed, to give my poor cough-ridden body a chance to rest up for tomorrow.
