Good thing I didn't hold my breath—it was out all day yesterday. But I called AT&T this morning and after the usual voice mail runaround, got a live person who identified my problem and put it in their system to get fixed. Two hours or so later, it was, and I've been a happy little web geek all day today. Also got a great deal on a Powerbook through a gal on DigitalEves, so I will be all ready to travel in January, which I expect will be the first time I go back for work. I'll be in S.J. the middle of next month, but that's a personal trip for a certain someone's birthday and won't require any computing power.
