What a wonderful way to get your kids into reading! Of all the things I'm thankful to my parents for (and there are many), near the top of the list is the love of reading they instilled in me at a young age. As a baby geek, books were my refuge from the rest of the world and an open door to imagination, and they still are. If I'm having a crappy day, the best thing I can do is get myself to a bookstore or library—just walking in the midst of all that paper calms nerves and restores my good mood. [via Librarian.net]
