Theater
A wonderful meditation on the joys of live theater and an actor's contract with the audience, from Patrick Stewart:
And that is something films and television, for all the magic, for all the verisimilitude, cannot do. For the air our audience breathes is the same air the actors breathe; it is the same time of day for all of us; we all heard the same news, experienced the same temperatures on the way to the theater and will go to sleep at roughly the same time.
