Turns out that Navy ship yesterday was a destroyer, the USS Fife. I saw it going back out this morning, and a couple of Coast Guard cruisers patrolling around also. Apperently Puget Sound has several big ships in the water right now, no surprise given the number of bases around. If we do end up going to war, it's going to be a tense time here for lots of families.
