OK, so I was gone awhile. But I've found lately that too much of my life is slipping away to work, and while I totally understand and accept that I'm working for The Man, it doesn't mean that work gets the entire 100% of my brain share. So, with encouragement from my new bud Angel, Wanderingmind.org is back online.

Given the huge gap, I'm not even going to pretend to bother catching up at this point—there's just too much. So I'll start with where things are now. This last weekend was a big turning point, I think; I am finally making the big leap from reading and thinking about spiritual practice to actually starting one. For reals. This is a direct result of going to Noah Levine's workshop at CIIS, which gave me some practice practicing, a practical framework, and a temporary yet wonderful community. (See Angel, above.
